Friday was filled with work. Talky left for a sports camp for the whole weekend, so we focused on some kid-free activities.
On Saturday we, as thousands others, took the long-delayed west metro to Espoo. After visiting EMMA we continued to the end station (a shopping mall) for a glass of wine. We ended up having beer & tapas in a wine bar. There we met an autistic man and his sister, who very unFinnishly started chatting with us. As an ex-partly-South-African I’m well aware not everybody in this world cannot be saved, yet still the contrast with the shiny new metro stations was quite drastic.
As it was a rainy day, a few glasses of Cape Tawny felt warm in a cosy in candle light.
